Proactive Health – preamble to Gardening 101

Welcome to Gardening 101 blog series!

When you start gardening on  your terrace;

1) you expose your skin to sunshine to synthesize Vitamin D within the body.

2) by growing lemons & other citrus fruits, guava, leafy greens – particularly spinach, tomato, cabbage etc. you get your daily dosage of Vitamin C.

3) you can add yoga to your gardening routine to stay agile.

4) practice Meditation, er… I mean do Gardening!

5) eat moderate, seasonal & diverse and mostly homegrown.

6) add millets to your menu even if you are not growing yourself.

7) drink amply. (I mean Water!)

8) merge with nature to experience tranquility – lowers your heartbeat, teaches you patience, makes you optimistic and if you persist develops your confidence and self esteem!
